Cut Vase, Medium

‘Cut’ came from a series of experimentations by playing with the thickness and the surface of the hot glass to create a rippling effect. Inspired by the glistening waves of the seas, we wanted to capture the same effect of constant play of lights. By simply “cutting” the hot honey like glass, and blowing it up, we were create glass pieces that do not seem solid or hard, but still look liquid and malleable. Even inspected closely, the glass seems to change with every angle, very fluid in its perception, creating a unique dispersion of light.

Medium: 6" dia. 

It is a sculptural piece, but it can also be used with food, flowers, candy, chocolate and caviar.

Please note that each product is handmade and unique, so the shape and color may differ slightly from the one pictured. Furthermore some bubbles may appear.

Our glass products are not dishwasher friendly. All products should be washed by hand in lukewarm water with a little detergent and wiped dry afterwards to avoid water stains.
